Public Announcements

APICS is launching a new certification verification tool in July 2014. This online tool, which will be available publicly on the APICS website, is designed to comply with industry best practices for publicizing certification credentials.

APICS certification verification will:

  • Provide prospective employers and other stakeholders with a simple, easy way to verify certification status
  • Elevate the credibility of APICS certification in the marketplace
  • Protect the value of the credential for our designees.

You may send designees and prospects to the APICS certification verification page for information on this new service. Any updates and further details will also be announced on this page.

Expired or suspended status CPIM designees

As a reminder, the APICS CPIM recertification exam is now available. Only designees with suspended and expired APICS CPIM certifications are eligible. The exam will be offered February–December 2014 throughout the world on an on-demand basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for suspended and expired CPIM designees to reinstate their certification by taking one exam instead of the five normally required. The cost is the same as one CPIM exam; interested candidates must submit an Authorization to Test before scheduling the exam.
